ARE YOU READY TO BE FREE?

Like really have full freedom from an eating disorder.

Imagine no longer feeling like food and body image are landmines you had to navigate around everyday.

What if food was "just food"Sounds crazy, but...

HERE'S THE REALITY:

IT'S POSSIBLE!

DON'T THINK YOU'RE THE EXCEPTION (keep on reading my warrior friend)

You didn't start the process of recovery just to feel stuck and frustrated.

You started the process of recovery because you want to enjoy life. You want to feel alive again.

You know there's more to life than obsessing over food labels, scheduling workouts, and saying "no" to opportunities outside of your comfort zone or calorie quota.

…But at this stage, you still have a lot of obstacles, what-ifs, and fears holding you back.

If you want to recover and step into a life beyond food and body struggles, you need guidance that’s designed for exactly where you're at.

Hello there, warrior

My name is Jessica Flint, Founder of Recovery Warriors. When I first started recovery, I felt like my weight and food behaviors were holding me back from everything in life. I was insecure and critical of the woman I saw in the mirror. I questioned if I was "sick enough". Thank God I didn't convince myself that I wasn't worthy of support. I desperately needed it. Now life is so liberating on the other side of an eating disorder. And with a decade of professional experience healing eating disorders, I know how to help you find freedom.

FAQ

  • I know that if I commit fully and apply what I learn, I'll get tremendous value. That said, how much time do I need to set aside each week?

Each class will take a minimum of 3-5 hours depending on how fast you read and write. You can surely invest more time in each class if you want to go into the coursework in more depth. To be frank, one of the best "lessons" you can get in the School of Recovery is challenging perfectionism and showing up imperfectly. This in and of itself can help break the habit of taking on too much, then dropping it and feeling bad about yourself. Very very few people who successfully go through the program finish all their assignments while in it. They find the connection and community is what gives them the most forward motion and support. They also found relief in knowing they (and you if you decide to join) have 2 years of access to the material in the Student Center. Fully recovering from an eating disorder is not an 8-week linear event. This program mirrors the reality of recovery — it's introspective, time consuming, heart-opening and something you'll work on for years to come. It is also so much more rewarding when done with the right support. This is what student, Jennifer had to say about her experience: “It’s really well structured, there’s enough time between each lesson, you can do it at your own pace, you can rewatch things if you need, and you can revisit things weeks later if you need to check again, and it's in a really clear order and you can see the progress your making!”

  • How do I access the program?

All components of this program are fully virtual and can be completed from anywhere with an internet connection! Listening to pre-recorded lectures and call recordings is the primary focus of this program—which you can do in the School of Recovery Student Center at any time. Our live connection and group coaching calls and your 1-on-1 coaching calls with Joni O'Donnell will take place through Zoom. Only thing you'll need to connect is a stable internet connection to join.

  • If I try the School of Recovery and it doesn't work for me — can I get a refund?

Yes. We've always backed our program with 100% satisfaction guarantee. Here's how it works. Test drive the first week. If by 7 days you don't feel the School of Recovery is right for you — just email our support team at [email protected], show us your completed coursework and we'll issue a fast and complete refund. The reason we ask for your completed coursework is simple. We only want to work with people who are truly committed to taking massive, consistent action and using the ideas and strategies to create real change. We devote a tremendous amount of time, energy and human resources into out students in this program, so it's vital that you're as committed to taking action as we are to supporting your success. In order to be eligible for our 7 day Money Back Guarantee, you must submit proof that you listened to the lessons, interviews, and did the course work and it did not work for you.

  • I'm new to recovery — will the School of Recovery work for me?

Yes, it certainly can. We've had students come through the program in the beginning stages and leave full of hope and insights for the road ahead. To be clear, recovery is not an 8 week, linear event. If you truly want to recover, it takes years of effort, dedication, and introspection. While we can't guarantee that you'll put the necessary energy into the growth of your recovery in the long-term, what we can say is this: The School of Recovery is ideal if you're just starting out because you'll be surrounded by other warriors with a growth mindset who are committed to overcoming their eating disorder. Plus, you'll be engaging with content centered around the most foundational aspects of recovery in the weekly group coaching and connection calls.

  • I've been trying to recover for YEARS — will the School of Recovery work for me?

Yes, it certainly can. We've had students come through the program that have been living with an eating disorder for over 50 years and have experienced profound healing and hope. To be clear, recovery is not an 8 week, linear event. If you truly want to recover, it takes a belief that it is possible and that you are worthy of it. No matter how many times it didn't work out in the past, it is possible if you keep an open mind and an open heart. While we can't guarantee that you will stay open to the transformation, what we can say is this: The School of Recovery is ideal if you've tried many different options and had no success because you'll be exposed to new ways of looking at your eating disorder and be surrounded by other warriors with a growth mindset who are committed to overcoming their eating disorder. Plus, you'll be engaging with content centered around the most foundational aspects of recovery in the group coaching and connection calls.

  • Will going through the School of Recovery eliminate the need to work with a therapist or dietitian?

No. The School of Recovery™ is NOT a substitution for seeking professional treatment like a therapist or a dietitian. It can be a wonderful accessory to your treatment team or stand on it's own if you're in the later stages of recovery. If you're not sure whether you need a higher level of care, reach out to any treatment centers for a free assessment. If you're currently working with treatment team we highly encourage you to stay with them. The School of Recovery™ is meant to be a supplement to treatment or for people in the later stages of recovery who are no longer routinely seeing a therapist or a dietitian.

  • How does the community component work?

Our community is powered by a third party platform called Circle and is not on Facebook. Social media has been linked to higher levels of loneliness, envy, anxiety, depression, narcissism and decreased social skills. While we are not advocating against social media, we think your mental and emotional experience is enhanced on a separate platform. Circle has a user friendly mobile and desktop app and is much easier to organize conversations around topics through it's use of "spaces". Previous students LOOOVED it! The community circle will be closed one week after graduation. This will give you sufficient time to connect with your classmates outside of school by your preferred methods. Fellow alumni Marie had to the say following about her experience: “In the School of Recovery, I not only got what I wanted, but I ended up with a community of people who were more than I expected. Amazing non judgmental support. It was so powerful. Money can’t buy this. It was amazing. I had the opportunity to be around all these people and be heard and seen and not judged. Making it that much easier to talk about it with people around me who don’t have an eating disorder and don’t know what it’s like to recover.” - Marie

  • How can I reach you to ask a question?

Our team is here to help if you run into tech problems, have a question about the program or just want to say hello. You can reach us by email at [email protected].
